In reply to REGINA. I've had different results and luck at different altitudes as well. It seems to almost always set up at 1 min and 20 seconds, but honestly it can be trial and error until you find out what works best for you.

I tried recipe again still with splenda but let it boil much longer…that really seemed to be the trick. They were much firmer !!!!! Awesome ????

In reply to REGINA. Yeah, that could have been the difference Regina. If the process and ingredients aren't perfect, they will never firm up.

Delicious but just not firm enough….I did use splenda instead of sugar…don’t know if that was the difference.
