Monetize Your Blog with Social Spark

Monetize your blog Have a Blog?

I know many of our readers here on GoodIdeasandTips are bloggers. A good portion of you are craft and Do-It-Yourself bloggers and I have seen and actively visit many of your sites. I love learning from you just like you learn from me. (At least I hope you do!)

What I’ve also noticed, is that many of you don’t appear to be making an income from your blogs. And I guess my question is…..Why?

But I’ve also noticed that many of you ARE monetizing your blogs and are probably looking for ways to make more money from your site. I have a way for you to do that.

Monetize Your Blog with Social Spark

A short while back I stumbled across a company called IZEA. Basically put, they connect advertisers like Scott’s, Walgreens and American Family Insurance with bloggers like you and I. These advertisers are looking for blogs who are willing to write sponsored reviews about their products or services.

How does Social Spark Work?

Social Spark is extremely simple to use. In order to become part of it, you must sign up for an account and submit your blog for review. NOTE: Not every blog is accepted! But this is a good thing. It keeps the quality advertisers coming because they know that Social Spark has a network of only the best blogs!

Once your blog is accepted, you will have “leads” delivered to your dashboard. These leads are offers that Social Spark sends you that could possibly be a match for your blogs content. You can view the details of the lead and what the advertiser expects from your blog post, the price they are willing to pay for the post and any other requirements. And get this, if their price is too low, you can negotiate with them. You’ll be notified once the advertiser accepts your offer.

You’ll then compose a blog post, submit it for approval by the advertiser and then publish it to your blog. So simple!

How Much Money Can You Make?

Oh sure! It’s all about money……but that’s okay. The amount of money you can make will depend on the traffic of your site, the offers you get from advertisers and your ability to tactfully bid on leads. But, if you’re looking for a more exact figure, I have made as much as $120 per blog post. There are some I only get paid $30 or $60, but I make sure that it will be beneficial to write the post before I accept the offer. The money you make is paid out 30 days after you publish the post directly to a PayPal account of your choice. I believe you can also opt in to receiving a check if you’d like to do it that way.

As your blog grows in popularity, the offers you receive will increase as well, and so will your income.
