Today I learned a fun fact!!  If you wipe Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline on the your newly carved Pumpkin (areas where it was cut or carved) then it will last longer.  One of the biggest bummers when it comes to a perfectly carved pumpkin, is that it doesn’t last very long.  For our family, we carved our pumpkin on Monday night and want it to stay fresh looking until Friday night, the actual night of Halloween.  So what a great idea to use so that our pumpkin will not wilt and shrivel.  I am sure there are 101 great ideas for Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline, but I will save that post for another day!!!
