Spreading Weed & Feed Has Never Been Easier
This post brought to you by Scotts®. All opinions are 100% mine.
With Spring time on the horizon, things are starting to heat up. And with that warmth comes growth, and in my yard, that growth is coming mostly from weeds. Just call them my nemesis. Sometimes I feel like half of my life is spent trying to rid my yard of weeds.
My Grandmother recently came over for a visit to notice all the weeds in the back yard. She looks at me and said, “You know how to get rid of those weeks don’t ya?” I secretly knew what she was going to say before she said it, but she answered back saying, “You mow ’em down!” That’s what she has been doing for a very long time, and so have I!
But instead of mowing these weeds down this year, I want to get rid of them.
Now, let me tell you one thing though, I am no expert in lawn care…. but I am an expert in preserving energy. So here’s my answer, a Scotts® Snap® Spreader System. It looks extremely simple. Just grab the bag of weed controller, pop it on, walk around the yard for a bit, sip come lemonade, kill some weeds and call it good! From what I’ve read, the spreader system folds up and the bags are self sealing for easy storage. You can literally just pop them on and off you go. It automatically gages how much seed to spread so you don’t have to worry about keeping track.
If you’re interested, I also encourage you to check out Snap perks on Facebook and give them a “Like” for some of their promotions and contests. You might be able to score some free stuff.
HINT: You are brilliant and probably already know this, but the best time to fight weeds in your lawn are before they have a chance to start growing. So if you’re planning on spreading weed controller on your lawn, now would be the time.
So stay tuned to my future posts on lawn care. I’ll even possibly show you before and after pictures of our lawn. I can’t just give you good ideas, I have to prove them right? Stay tuned!
