Chef Remi Cooking Thermometer Review
Our oldest daughter has quite a bit of entrepreneur blood in her (which Mom and Dad take credit for, of course) and has the ability to sell just about anything to anyone. We’re quite proud!
One of her latest items up for sale are homemade suckers. Single handed, with occasional help from Mom, she brewed, poured into molds and packaged her product. She even employed her little sisters to sell suckers for her, for a small commission. She completed the entrepreneur circle by not only earning money herself, but managing employees.
Again, so proud.
Anyway, the point of my post is to give you an honest review of the Chef Remi Cooking Thermometer, which we received recently. Up until now, my daughter was using the typical candy thermometer, which is made out of glass and clips to the side of the pot. The Chef Remi thermometer is digital.
I don’t know if any of you have seen or used a hard candy recipe before, but in order for the candy to setup correctly, you need to boil certain ingredients to a specific temperature….such as 300 degrees Celsius. It just so happens that the Chef Remi cooking thermometer measures up to 300 degrees Celsius, or 572 degrees Fahrenheit.
Features of the Chef Remi Cooking Thermometer are:
- Has a measuring range of -50ºC to 300ºC, or -58ºF to 572ºF.
- Remembers your last measurement
- 10 minute auto shutdown
- Toggles between ºC and ºF
- Has a hold button to pause it on a certain reading.
So far, the Chef Remi Cooking Thermometer has worked really well and with precision. Heck, I’ve even taken my own temperature with it….no fever! Check out https://www.corriecooks.com for more ideas.
All in all, great thermometer. Be sure to pick up yours HERE!
