Oh My Goodness…..I have found love!!! Love in tutu’s. With Halloween just around the corner, I was asking my girlies just what they wanted to be for the big festive day, and you guessed it….fairies and princesses. So I had a friend tell me about this amazing site and I am so thrilled to share it with you. Now a little back story….I was looking for tutu’s on e-bay and they were running around $40 dollars for the really cute ones, well this wonderful woman has a site where she is buying the tutu’s in bulk, using what she needs and selling the rest at amazingly LOW prices….did I mention I’m IN LOVE WITH THIS SITE. It’s nothing fancy, but the deals are so incredible, I hope you’ll pass it on to all of your mom friends who have little girlies to dress!! The great thing is that girls are wearing tutu’s every day now, not just on birthday’s, recitals, or Halloween. It’s the new fashion statement!! haha! Check it out HERE!!
Placemat Scripture Case
August 17th, 2010

These are the cutest little bags ever and you can make them yourself if you can sew a straight line!! The great thing about the Placemat Scripture Case is that you get to customize it to fit your scriptures, design it with the colors you love, and “Be-Dazzle It” with all of your favorite embellishments. They can be made small for your small books, or super large and used as a beach bag. I actually set out to make nine for two of my daughters and seven of my nieces and it was such a fun project. I purchased the placemats at Wal-Mart, but later saw some really adorable mats at Hobby Lobby that were black with white polka dots. They would have been really fun to use as well. I chose mostly dark brown mats, a few tan mats, and a two striped ones. It didn’t matter what colors or styles I chose, each of the placemat scripture cases turned out unique and fabulous. I have plans on doing another for myself, but I will use a beaded fringe around the case to jazz it up a bit. SO…………let’s get started!!!

Yes, you read it right. Today is Friday the 13th…Dun Dun…Dun Dun… Is it such a scary day? Do bad things happen to good people on Friday the 13th? Is there a man out there in a scary mask, without a mouth whole, seeking your blood? PROBABLY…but instead of focusing on all the blood and gore…
I am going to give you 13 Great Ideas of Places to Watch Movies. Yeah…Hurray! It’s always fun/ and entertaining to watch movies on a Friday night, whether it’s the Scare Flick, “Friday the 13th” or a Family Flick like “Shrek, Forever After.”
(HIL-arious) Dad Life Video
August 12th, 2010
Amy Allred So random, I watched this today and couldn’t wait to share it with you, but first a little background on why I think this is so awesome. A few days ago, my husband sent me a funny text, (P.S….this was just a joke on his part)and it read, “I feel like I am living a double life…I was born to be an off road race car driver/tactical expert/kung fu master and I’m livin’ as a father and a husband. Oh, I am so torn. Can’t I have my cake and eat it too???” So, when I saw this amazing little video, it reminded me of his sarcastic text!!! ENJOY!!!
My favorite part….Watch the older dad at the very end of the video, his dancing is classic!
